Cisco announced that they have updated Cisco CCNP Data Center exam from version 5.0 to version 6.0. Here is the Cisco’s update explanation:
Cisco is at the forefront of addressing rapidly changing technologies and preparing IT professionals for today’s expanding roles. We are pleased to inform you that the Cisco CCNP® Data Center certification curriculum has been significantly revised to help you stay at the forefront of in-demand job skills and technologies.
The portfolio’s certification exams and curriculum have been completely revised to cover the latest key skills, technologies, and industry best practices for data center infrastructure, including managing data center networks, streamlining operations through automation, establishing policy-driven infrastructure across data center physical and virtual resources, securing data center resources, and implementing unified computing and advanced virtualization.
Candidates seeking to achieve the CCNP Data Center certification will have the option of taking the current version 5.0 exams, new version 6.0 exams, or a combination of both versions until July 3, 2017.
