The trend toward digitization is continually generating demand for new skills as organizations seek professionals prepared to take advantage of burgeoning technologies such as policy-based automation, advanced security functionality, and network functions virtualization (NFV).
If you’re looking to expand your IT skills and advance your career to the next level, Cisco has announced new and updated Network Programmability certifications, new DNA training, and the continual evolution of the Expert-level certification programs to prepare you with next-generation skills.
DNA and Network Programmability Training and Certifications
- Cisco is offering a new DNA training course, “DNA Implementation Essentials” (DNAIE), to support networking professionals who are implementing Cisco DNA today.
- The Network Programmability program has been completely revised with two new Network Programmability Specialist certifications and training (instructor-led as well as e-learning):
For Network Engineers: Designing and Implementing Cisco Network Programmability (NPDESI) Specialist certification
For Application Developers: Developing with Cisco Network Programmability (NPDEV) Specialist certification
Passing either Network Programmability Specialist certification exam recertifies existing CCNA and CCNP certifications held by candidates.
Comprehensive instructor-led training (ILT) and e-learning is now available for both certifications.
- “Programming for Network Engineers” (PRNE) is a self-paced training resource designed to be of immediate value to network engineers looking to use network programming to simplify or automate their tasks.
